Positive: Acorn lodge is in such a peaceful location, surrounded by cows and sheep as well as a small feline friend called Jenkins. The hot tub is stunning late at night with some exceptional views.

Negative: There wasn’t much not to like, however, the lane leading up to the property was very uneven and bumpy but that was expected as the lodge is located on a farm.

Summary: A lovely few days away from reality, peaceful and relaxing in such a calming location.

Positive: Great communication from hosts before our stay and the lodge was just perfect in every little finishing touch. Lovely and cosy with the addition of a log burner in lounge.

Negative: Our hosts kindly lit the wood fired hot tub several hours before our arrival but with temperatures outside so low it just didn't get hot enough to use.

Summary: Perfect, luxury lodge in a peaceful and tranquil location. Would love to return in the summer. Julie
